Willow Cordain
Willow keeps her finger on the pulse of local senior communities, staying informed about their strengths and challenges in providing quality care. With a history of advocacy for hundreds of families, she assesses needs, conducts tours, and provides valuable guidance on what to look for and ask during the process. She also provides other support needed during this journey - such as recommendations for elder law attorneys, downsizers, fiduciaries, support groups, education classes, care managers, and how to stay at home longer more successfully. This ensures a comprehensive approach, addressing the unique needs of each family. As a facilitator of a 10-week Memory Loss Educational Series that has been going on for over 20 years, she brings a wealth of dementia knowledge and support to her clients. The series brings together local experts to support families with a diagnosis of dementia. Her passion for teaching extends to various organizations in town, including the Alzheimer's Association, local churches and hospice agencies, 55 and older clubhouses, Rotary, and more. She is an Oregon native, raised in Eugene, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Promotion from Oregon State University. With years of experience as Admissions Directors in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities, she now finds joy in her work by assisting families in understanding their options, and creating a clearer path, while decreasing their stress along the way.
Bridget Kronholm

Bridget is a Eugene native, growing up and graduating from the University of Oregon with a bachelors in Psychology. She has worked in senior-living for 10-years as a community coordinator at a memory care community and in admissions at the only continuing care retirement community in Eugene. She has extensive experience as an educator, and years of experience facilitating caregiver support groups for the Alzheimer’s Association. Bridget and Willow met when they were both facilitators for the Living with Memory Loss educational series in 2013. "I was thrilled to join Willow Care as Director of Placements, because it combines my passion for being in service and helping others, with my love of working with people and offering compassion and good options when faced with difficult situations and overwhelming decisions."
The Differences Between Assisted Living and Memory Care
An Assisted Living can be described as a ‘docked cruise’ ship with an apartment. It has its own bathroom and kitchenette, dining services, weekly housekeeping, social activities, transportation, and access to care...
