Keeping a series running for over two decades requires consistent and strong support from a variety of organizations, faciliators, and professionals in this field that donate their time.

Willow Cordain
FACILITATOR
With a degree in public health Willow has facilitated this series for nine yrs. She was Director of Admissions for a memory care community and for a Placement Agency. She is currently the owner of Willow Care, helping families find the best senior-care community for their loved ones in the Eugene/Springfield area.

Bridget Kronholm
FACILITATOR
Bridget has her degree in psychology and has facilitated this series for 4 yrs. She has been a Community Coordinater for a Memory Care Community, a Support Group leader for the Alzheimer’s Association, Admissions in a Continuing Care Retirement Community and currently as Director of Placements at Willow Care.

Kim Dunn
FACILITATOR
Kim is a Hospice Care Consultant for Bristol and has her degree in Gerontology. She was a Community Relations Director in memory care prior to coming to hospice. Her role is to educate and navigate the benefits of hospice with families, physicians, and communities. She has facilitated this series for more than two years.

Bonnie Cubit
FACILITATOR
As an adjunct facilitator in this series, Bonnie brings a deep wisdom to attendees also, having walked this path with her husband. She has taken her experience and now leads eight support groups, helping a multitude of people through their own journey. She brings compassion, deep personal knowledge, and unique and practical perspectives to those she helps.

Liz von Wellsheim
SPEAKER
Liz von Wellsheim, MSN, MA, GNP has two masters degrees, as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and in Social Gerontology. She has more than 30 yrs of experience in the field of geriatrics, including past ownership of a home health agency, a private clinic for those with dementia, and Elderhealth & Living (EHL) memory care community. She is a local and national speaker and has been a key developer and supporter of this series over the decades.

Maura Roberts
SPEAKER
Maura is an experienced attorney whose practice focuses on Elder Law, including Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Probate, Guardianships, and Conservatorships. Learn how to stay financially viable while spending for the care of a loved one. These complicated topics are made understandable by her down-to-earth, friendly explanations.

Melisa Andrion
SPEAKER
Melissa has been with Senior & Disability Services for seven years and is their Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator. Learn about programs and support available. Not all programs are resource-needs-based. She provides excellent overview presentations for our attendees.

April Oristano
SPEAKER
April is a Chaplain for Brighton Hospice, as a spiritual care provider and grief care coordinator. With her Master of Divinity and over 20 years of chaplaincy experience, her deep well of human understanding brings comfort and coping strategies to our attendees. She has served in hospital, prison, and university settings. And for over 10 years as a co-pastor of First Christian Church, in the heart of Eugene.

Battalion Chief Kamppi
SPEAKER
Chief Kamppi has a 30-year career as an EMS provider and currently does community education for the Eugene/Springfield Fire Department. Her informative and practical information on how to prepare effectively for an ambulance visit is always well-liked by attendees.

Elder Health & Living
Memory Village
Elderhealth & Living has been a long-term leader of this series from its infancy. They have been an integral part of keeping this series strong over the decades. Having provided clinicians for education, program developement, and office, website, and general coordination support. Currently, Juli Palmer from EHL is our Coordinator Extraordinaire.
