Guiding Your Choices in Senior Living

Willow Care Consulting, LLC offers a FREE service, helping families navigate how to choose a senior care community for themselves or their loved ones.

With over 25 years of combined experience in the senior-care field, out team looks forward to helping you find the very best options with expertise and compassion.

QUESTIONS TO ASK:

What is a community's reputation, quality-of-care, staff ratios & turnover rates, ownership, prices & Medicaid options? Do they offer the type of care your loved one needs now AND as they age ~ Or will they have to move again?

Good care is extremely important and a key factor I review with clients, but what about the other values your loved one holds?  Good food, location, outdoor spaces, apartment size, activity programs, gyms/pools, lighting, allows pets - those are just a few of the things we will review also.

I can answer these questions, simplify the process, and guide you in making the best possible choice. Call to schedule a consultation.

TESTIMONIALS:

From a daughter whose mom had mental health issues...

Something I've thought about a few times, and have learned from you indirectly. My mom was a little quirky out of the hospital but it was so neat, you didn't even bat an eye at it. Instead, you looked her in the eyes, hugged her back when she hugged you, laughed at her eccentric jokes, and made her feel like a human. I'm not sure I'll forget watching you guys hug outside that facility in South Eugene! At first I was so annoyed with my mom, but then you embraced her and genuinely smiled.  ~Fall 2021

Willow Cordain, Owner

I bring 14 years experience in the senior care field to my clients.

As Admissions Director for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care for 6 years, I have first hand knowledge of the communities. This helps me offer quality advice to families. For the past 6+ years I have helped clients navigate choosing a community in the Eugene/Springfield, OR area.

I keep my finger on the pulse of the communities, knowing who is doing well and what care they can and cannot provide.

I have been an advocate for numerous families over the years. We meet, discuss needs and tour together. I help you understand what to look for, what to ask about when touring, and a myriad of other information specific to your needs.

I advise on Medicaid, elder law attorneys, downsizers, fiduciaries, support groups, care managers (rent---a-daughter for those living away from parents etc.) and more.

Grand-daughter, 2024 - Memory Care

I wanted to first say thank you for all of your help over the last several months. You made a tough time much easier, and we certainly could not have made it through as well as we did without you (and Holly too!).

The community you recommended - their staff were absolutely amazing. Such great care, knowledgeable staff, just the best. The way the community communicated with us, and with outside providers... Even the outside agencies had nothing but compliments! Thank you again for all of your help.

Son, 2023 - Memory Care

We will not forget what you have done for us. This is a very lonely disease for caregivers and you gave us hope and direction.

Spouse, 2021

Willow, I don't think I could've made it through all the hoops. But you were there helping us. We had a difficult path to navigate but with your knowledge and expertise we made it with the outcome we wanted. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
